Cycle 1: The Foundations of Facilitation and Integration

Modules 1–4 | The Student’s Path

Cycle 1 – The Student’s Path marks the beginning of the inner and professional journey to becoming a facilitator. This first cycle lays the essential foundations for working with entheogens, guiding others in expanded states of consciousness, and cultivating a grounded, therapeutic presence.

This cycle is composed of four immersive modules that shape the multidimensional training journey, combining the development of the future facilitator in three key dimensions: Holistic Health, Transcendent Psychology, and the Mystical Axis of the Conscious School.

Training Modules

Introductory Cycle – On Being a Facilitator

This module opens the path with an inquiry into the role, ethics, and archetype of the facilitator. It is not about techniques, but about orientation: What does it mean to hold space for another’s transformation? What inner posture, worldview, and preparation are necessary to serve responsibly in altered states of consciousness?

  • Introduction to the archetype of the wounded healer
  • The facilitator as presence: holding, not fixing
  • Overview of entheogenic traditions and the contemporary therapeutic context
  • Ethical responsibility, projection, and boundaries

Integration Focus:
Anchoring the facilitator’s role in humility, self-awareness, and service. Students explore their motivations, wounds, and gifts as future facilitators.

Who Am I? – Identity, Perception & Ontological Inquiry

The second module initiates a deep dive into personal identity and self-perception, aligned with the teachings of the Conscious School. Through introspective and experiential practices, students begin to question the constructs that shape their sense of self.

  • Ontological inquiry into identity and perception
  • The birth of the conditioned self and the inner critic
  • Exploring childhood adaptations and survival strategies
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) introduction: parts and polarizations
  • Focusing and body-oriented self-inquiry

Integration Focus:
The student develops the inner witness. Rather than identifying with any one “self,” they begin to relate from presence to the constellation of parts within.

Desidentification and Deprogramming

This module deepens the Conscious School’s mystical strand by focusing on disidentification—the art of seeing through the illusion of self-images, internalized programs, and emotional contracts that no longer serve.

  • Conscious disidentification from thought, role, and narrative
  • Yielding: letting go of control, embracing mystery
  • Recognizing egoic defense strategies (e.g., rigidity, avoidance, performance)
  • Working with emotional charge: fear, shame, guilt as portals
  • Somatic and contemplative practices to dissolve internalized scripts

Integration Focus:
Dismantling false identity structures, creating inner space for truth and transformation.

Trust – Anchoring in the Unknown

The cycle culminates in the spiritual and emotional initiation into Trust—a foundational competency in both therapeutic presence and mystical surrender. This module invites students to explore what it means to trust life, themselves, the process, and others.

  • Trust as a somatic and spiritual competency
  • Recognizing and healing broken trust patterns (attachment-informed)
  • Surrender vs. collapse: learning safe vulnerability
  • Group field dynamics: co-regulation, projection, transference
  • Building inner trust through coherence and inner alignment

Integration Focus:
Trust becomes a lived experience—an inner platform for stepping into practitioner path.

Outcome of Cycle 1

By the end of Cycle 1, students will have:

  • Developed a foundational understanding of entheogenic work from psychological, spiritual, and practical perspectives
  • Cultivated key interpersonal skills such as empathy, deep listening, congruence, and presence
  • Engaged in direct practice with supervision and feedback
  • Initiated a personal process of healing, self-awareness, and inner leadership
  • Begun disidentifying from conditioned roles and exploring deeper identity

This cycle is ideal for those beginning their training as facilitators, as well as for individuals seeking a profound initiation into conscious service and self-inquiry.
